Robert graduated in May 1990 from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA with a B.B.A., Finance and Minor in Spanish, including study abroad at the University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain in the Spring of 1989. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Brooklyn Law School, Brooklyn, NY in June 1994.
Robert joined the family law firm, Schulman & Associates, in 2003. After two years as a full time attorney with the firm, he returned to corporate law. He continues to maintain his status as an Associate with the firm.
His prior experience includes:
Litigation Associate in a downtown New York City law firm, specializing in complex tort litigation;
Transactional Associate in a prominent Japanese law firm in Osaka, Japan, specializing in cross-border commercial transactions, joint ventures, licensing, and international dispute resolution.
In his spare time, Robert enjoys training in martial arts, which he has done for over thirty years. Robert is fluent in Japanese; he is Past Director and Treasurer of the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
